Journal Description

The Sabratha University Scientific Journal of Applied Sciences is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by Sabratha University, Libya. It publishes original research in the applied sciences and engineering. The journal provides a rigorous scholarly platform that supports scientific research and strengthens academic communication among researchers and others interested in these fields, both in Libya and internationally.

The journal is published quarterly and follows a continuous publication model, which allows fast peer review and immediate publication of accepted articles. Each accepted paper is published online as soon as peer review, revision and production are complete, and is assigned to one of four issues per year:

• Issue 1: 1 January – 31 March


• Issue 2: 1 April – 30 June


• Issue 3: 1 July – 30 September


• Issue 4: 1 October – 31 December

Issues are cited in the following format: Volume (number), Issue (1–4), Year. For example: Volume 15, Issue 1, 2026.
